Cookie and Device Storage Policy

This policy explains cookies and similar device storage used by the JoinOurDay website and app. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Visiting the website, accepting an invitation or creating a wedding is not consent to optional tracking.

1. Website preferences and session storage
When you explicitly choose English or Polish, the website stores your language preference in local storage on that website origin. It stays until you change it or clear the website data. Browser-language detection alone does not save a preference. A start-wedding link can store the originating page and click time in session storage for that browser tab; the session record normally clears when the tab session ends.
Authentication and security features may use provider storage to keep a requested session secure. The native app also uses local app storage and operating-system credential storage; these are different from browser cookies. Clearing necessary storage may sign you out or reset settings.
2. App diagnostics and other providers
The app uses Firebase analytics and diagnostics, Sentry diagnostics, OneSignal notifications and RevenueCat purchase services as described in the Privacy Policy. Those services can use device identifiers or local storage even when they do not use a browser cookie. This policy does not describe all such technologies as strictly necessary or treat Terms acceptance as analytics consent.
External sign-in pages, the embedded Google account-deletion form, and websites opened through links may apply their own storage policies. We do not use advertising cookies to target ads on this website. Where non-essential storage or access requires consent under applicable law, a separate valid choice is required before that use.
3. Your controls
Use your browser settings to inspect or remove cookies and website storage. You can switch the website language at any time. Use device Settings to manage app permissions such as notifications and access to photos. These controls have different effects: clearing browser data does not erase your JoinOurDay account, and notification permission is not consent to unrelated analytics. See the Privacy Policy to exercise data rights or request deletion.
4. Updates
We update this policy when the technologies or their purposes change and show the version above. Any legally required consent must be collected separately; a revised policy cannot supply it.
