How the Board works
On the wedding home screen
The Wedding Board card sits on Our Day, the screen guests already check for timings and places. It shows the newest post and how many are new, and one tap opens the whole conversation.
Replies stay under the post they answer, so the next guest with the same question finds the answer already there.
For the couple
Pin one post—your welcome, the weekend timings or a change of plan—and it stays at the top while newer posts appear below. Turn comments off on a post that only needs reading.
In Board settings you choose whether guests can start their own posts. With it switched off, only you and your admins can post, and guests can still comment where comments are on.
For guests
A guest flying in from Dublin can ask who is on the same flight. Someone with spare seats can offer a lift. Each post can have a short title, and the composer reminds them that everyone who joined the wedding will see it.
Hearts let people show they have read something without adding another comment.
Private and kind
Only people who joined your wedding can open the Board, and everyone posts under the same Community Guidelines: be kind, respect privacy, keep everyone safe and keep it relevant.
Anyone can report a post, a comment or a person to the JoinOurDay moderation team, and the person reported is not told who sent it. Blocking someone hides their Board posts and comments, and they are not notified.

No. Wedding Board is part of Premium, a one-time purchase for the whole wedding. Guests never pay to read or join in.
Only people who have joined your wedding in JoinOurDay. The Board is not a public web page and cannot be found by search engines.
Yes. Switch off “Allow guests to create posts” in Board settings. Only you and your admins can then post, and guests can still comment where comments are on.
No. Posts appear newest first, with one pinned post at the top. Replies sit under each post, so a question and its answer stay together.
A new post can notify the other people in the wedding. The notification does not quote the post itself.
Yes. Posts already loaded on a phone stay readable offline. Posting, commenting and other changes need a connection.
No. The Board is for words. Photographs, videos and voice notes belong in the shared album.
